Shipping Rates

... And here we go again... Canada Post, true to form, has raised mailing costs for 2006. All shipping costs below have been adjusted to reflect the changes; suffice it to say, the cost of mailing a letter to the US has gone from $0.85 to $0.89 BEFORE tax...add another 7% to that. So, back to the Canada Post website.... ARGH!

     Prices listed below all include taxes; Canada Post charges tax on mailing costs $5.00 and under, anything over that is "tax-free". I am now charging for mailing supplies - unfortunately the costs of envelopes, card sleeves, top loaders, etc. are like everything else...going up, anyone? This charge is NOT added into the shipping costs listed below; it's separate. For up to 3 cards the additional cost will be $0.25, for everything else the cost will be $0.50.

     The difference between Oversize (O/S) letter and Small packet are the dimensions; Oversize letter mail is less than 20 mm / 2 cm {about 3/4"} thick. I will include that in my auction listings if it will be an issue.

Insurance coverage
   If an item is sent as Small Packet {available to US or International destinations ONLY!}, either by Air or Surface, there is up to $100 CAD in coverage included in the cost. There is no coverage on lettermail.


IF I am able to ship item for less than the shipping cost quoted {by $1 or more}, I will refund the difference to buyer!
